JOHANNESBURG (Reuters) – Growth in private-sector credit demand in South Africa rose to 5.96 percent in March from 5.74 percent in February, central bank data showed on Monday.

Expansion in the broadly defined M3 measure of money supply slowed to 6.42 percent from 6.89 percent.
